About In Balance

Jodi Berger, the founder and clinical director of In Balance Physical Therapy and Wellness Center, received her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in 1998. Her post graduate training and work experiences were completed at Johns Hopkins Hospital, rotating through acute care, pediatrics, in-patient rehab, cardio-pulmonary units and the outpatient orthopedics departments. Following her passion, Jodi spent the next 5 years at Johns Hopkins specializing in Women’s Health Physical Therapy.

In January 2009, Jodi opened In Balance Physical Therapy and Wellness Center with the goal of providing patients with specialized services both in Cardio-Pulmonary and Women’s Health Physical Therapy while also providing comprehensive care to patients with generalized Physical Therapy concerns.

To stay current with the newest research and treatment techniques, Jodi has taken numerous continuing education courses in the Women’s Health Field dealing with complex issues of pelvic pain, incontinence and sexual dysfunction.

Jodi has surrounded herself with a highly trained and experienced team of Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists and Social Workers in order to provide a holistic and balanced approach to treatment. Jodi and her staff continually strive towards excellence in patient care and it is exemplified through patient satisfaction surveys and physician recommendations of the facility.
